Fran Tarkenton & Will Adams on AI Evolution & Shadow AI

pipIQ was featured Friday on The Watch List on Schwab Network with Diane King Hall. Founder and CEO Fran Tarkenton and President Will Adams had an opportunity to talk about the risks Shadow AI presents to companies, and how we should think about AI’s rapid evolution and spread.

 Adams noted that employees in companies of all kinds are going out on their own to try AI tools that they think can help them do their jobs faster or better. “Unfortunately, a lot of those tools are not designed for business, they’re not designed to keep that kind of data secure and private and protected,” Adams said. “Meanwhile, the company has no idea that’s happening.”
